Jessica began working with people diagnosed with ‘psychosis’ in 2006. She managed the London Hearing Voices Projects, developing Hearing Voices peer support groups in a variety of settings (including prisons and immigration removal centres) moving on to working at the intersection of racial justice and alternatives to mainstream mental ill health approaches at Synergi, hosted by NSUN. Jessica is now based in Manchester working as an integrative psychotherapist in private practice with people who want to understand experiences of ‘psychosis’, mood changes and to come off psychiatric medication. She also supports those navigating workplace dynamics, providing group reflective practice and supervision and is involved in developing a Peer Open Dialogue network with CHARM, a Community for Holistic, Accessible, Rights Based Mental Health.
